Just got into the world of reefs.. Already I wanna venture into breeding

if I recall correctly, only regal blue tang has ever been bred in captivity. no other tang.

Yes, but there are no clear evidences of that,it is like a rumour:hmm2:
The IO at Hi works very hard on raising yellow tangs,but they just could have the larvae syçurvivung few days.

do you guys run clean up crews in your breeder tanks ie crabs, shrimp, snails?
or do they eat the eggs?

If you want to do it soon go with banggai cardinals (they are also easy) ,neon gobies(similar to clownfish but not as popular),yellowhead jawfish (not terribly hard),and/or orchid dottybacks(they are harder to raise though). Clownfish could take 3 years(1-2 is common) to spawn and are aggressive. If you want something easy buy a mated pair of neon gobies.
I would suggest you get the marine breeders guide to breeding fish it's a great book and will answer more of your questions,I have it and I absolutely love it. Good luck!
