hey everyone...

so ive had my 55 for almost 3 years now and i have decided to put together a nano tank

everything is going together relly slowly so ive waited like a month to make this post..lol

here is everything i have so far, im just a few days away from getting my lights LR and sand

here it goes.


just the tank, whisper 10 (90 gph), and the pump that will be used as kinda a CL system....

here is the pump plumbed w/ PVC

here is the over flow box i made out of acrylic

here is the pump in the over flow

the egg crate cover

everythng on the inside(dont mind the egg crate inside the tank its just thre to hold the overflow in place..)

here it is on my desk...lol (pardon the mess...)

and now i know what your all thinking....he's gonna put a tank on a glass desk...wrong

here is the spot where the stand is gonna go, we still gotta but it thou...lol

enjoy....
for tomorrow, im painting the overflow black, as well as the PVC

ok so now i thinking...and i have a few questions...

1 what filter media should i run in the whisper?

and 2 fish...lol

things i would like:
(not all, just one)
6 line wrasse?
clown gobies?
fire fish?

which do you think is best, i would relly like the 6 line, but im not shure if the tank is big enough...

your like me i started a 10 gallon about 2 weeks ago. i think thier fun as well. im using two hob fliters at the moment. 1 im trying some chaeto in it. i think as long as you change the filter cartridge or clean it weekly you should be fine. im going to clean mine in the water i take out for water changes. neat ideas in your pics. curious to see the results as well..

ok semi update

i just finished painting the overflow and PVC, im waiting for it to dry and finish homework...lol then ill take pics and tomorrow ill begin siliconeing the overflow
