Cully I hear ya. I had to work 3 days straight thru Memorial day weekend including Monday just to get the 4th of July weekend off. Just doesn't seem fair.. I hope your time flies and your not stuck in work all weekend.

No work here, 3 day weekend. However, I did get a speeding ticket as well. Had to work at the nuclear power plant and I didn't realize the speed limit on the 590 was only 55. Hopefully they are nice in Rochester and let me plea it down to a lesser charge.

This is my first in Rochester so I'm not sure how they are on reductions. I completely deserved it this time so will probably just go online and take care of it. The two other times I got speeding tickets years back were both in Livingston County. The one got reduced because the judge thought it was petty that the officer pulled me over for doing 55 right before the 55 zone started and the other time the officer himself just wrote me up for a traffic device because he had clocked the lady I just passed as doing 35 in a 55 so seemed to understand why I was in a hurry to pass her. lol

we send the hand traumas to the University and let the "specialists" deal with it. most times, you can just wrap it up and have a hand surgeon see it in the next couple of days. the other big concern is that people get crazy with the heat in general, add fireworks to the already looming threat of firearms and it's a bad mix. Had a GSW (gun shot wound) the last weekend I was on. Hoping not to repeat that this weekend. Absouletly DYING for a beer at this point....but gotta abstain. How would you like to be seen in the ER by someone who stinks of booze. Not very confidence inspiring.
