why can't i bring down my calcium

Oceanic has a ridiculous amount of CA in it...IMO any salt that strays from NSW on such an important parameter to reefkeeping is pure crap!!!!go back to IO or if you just dont want IO get tropic marin...good stuff

welp I finally ran out of Oceanic salt here is what I am going to try. I think IM gonna try mixing IO and Oceanic doing tests along the way until I get a even mix to a consistency I like and seem stable this tank is going to be sold soon but I want to keep it as stable as possible be watching in the selling forums for me because if I lose one more coral its going up until I finish moving

A 50/50 mix might do well Calcium and Magnesium wise. Check the Alkalinity of the mix as both salts might vary there.

do wc's without oceanic if you still want to lower it......if you already have it lowered then start mixing...
