Why did my soft green coral break

I found one of his little arms on the floor. Is this good or bad? I have him rubberband' to a rock for him to attach to. I do not think it is too tight. What do you all think??

put the new frag where you want it to grow, and voila: you have more corals!

yes they reproduce by "splitting"..
Most soft/leather corals do that..
