Why did my Torch close up??

So I bought an Orange Tip Torch 2 days ago. It opened up within an hour of placing him in my tank (Biocube 29) and stayed open all day that day and the next day (yesterday). Today, it hasn't opened up at all since the lights came on.

Yesterday I did a 4 gallon water change, using premixed RO/DI water. That is the ONLY thing I have done since adding the Torch. I tested the water parameters both yesterday and then again today when I noticed it didn't open. Everything was perfect with the exception of the Nitrates which was right around 3ppm (nothing out of the ordinary).

I have a Cynarina, a Hammer, 2 Zoa, a Trumpet, Pulsing Xenia, Green Star Polyp, a Nuclear Green Paly, Hairy Mushroom, and a Frogspawn. ALL of which are doing well.

I also have a peppermint shrimp, clown, coral beauty, scarlet skunk shrimp, and royal gramma, along with a few hermit crabs and turbo snails. None of which seem to be anywhere near it.

I have it placed at the bottom, about 4-5" left of the Frogspawn which is about 1 1/2" in diameter. Flow in this spot goes from left to right. Nothing else is really near it.

Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 3
Ammonia: 0
PH: 8-8.2
Alk: 8.2
Temp: 77.8
Salinity: 1.0249
*Hardly any change in parameters from pre water change.

Lighting is a 36W 10K PC and a retrofitted 15" ReefBrite 445nm LED strip.

Is it possible that this is temporary or is there something wrong that I am be missing?

(please don't ask questions that I have already given the answer to above). :-P

Thank you in advance!

Edit: It is also worth noting that the Hammer was added today and opened up within an hour. (And no. I didn't choose to buy it with a potential problem. My girlfriend brought it home for me as an early Christmas gift.) :-)

As long as everything else seems fine, I wouldn't worry too much. It's probably still acclimating to your tank, or didn't like something crawling on it overnight. Give it a few days. Sounds like you're doing everything right. I know its hard not to worry, we want everything to look great. Seems like at least one of my corals is moody at any given time, when I just want them all to look happy and perfect.

Ok. Good. I wasn't sure if that was normal or not. All of my other corals stayed opened once they initially opened. The only other thought I had was the possibility? that the frogspawn was stinging it.

Sadly, it died today. Nothing left to it but a skeleton. Interestingly enough, when I brought it to the store I bought it from, the one remaining was in almost the same condition. They thought theirs might be because a hammer was stinging it. A pretty reputable store, but maybe they got a bad batch this time?

They were nice enough to compensate me for it and let me choose another.

Oh that's too bad but it's good that the LFS let you pick out a replacement. Must not have been in good shape when they got them in the store.
