Why do anemones turn upside down sometimes?

I am guessing they dijest food this way?
Either that or they are cleaning the area where their foot sits.

likely the nem is suicidal...how are your water conditions...?

i have never seen mine turn over...

has it fallen from higher up? was it face down in the sand? does it right it self?

upside down nems are not going to make it ...

but i chooped up refined cocktail shrimp for him.
I doubt he is dying....... maybe he got sand in its mouth?

I just woke up so I'll check on him in a lil bit.

He is fine! LOL I guess flipping around this way and that way is their thing to do.

make sure the shrimp is raw and not just boiled then frozen usually coctail shrimp are cooked then frozen

Not every night but just to give the guys in there some variance.

I am pretty sure the ocean is not always churning out currents at 15 mph every singe minute of every single day.

So I regulate like something random like different days:

off
on
on
on
off

I want to keep it on more often than off.

I am also wondering if I should use a light dimmer with the power heads so the currents can be strong or soft.
Would be nice to replicate the ocean as good as possible.
I plan to buy those programmable devices that set light ph and other settings on auto when I am away and can check in remotely over the internet.
Prices seem reasonable entry level electronic device is only $180.00
