Why do my SPS have such poor coloration?

Yes, but the main point I was trying to make was increased import emphasizing food addition, not just amino acids and/or just allowing N to rise. Not everybody tries to maximize food addition and not everyone tries to increase import (the latter of which is where many problems arise).
 
I would check your potassium. It should be around 390. Mine was below 200 a little while ago and my purple and reds had almost faded to a milky white. I started dosing zeovit k balance and within 3 weeks my SPS were almost glowing with colour! ;)
 
What sps are you keeping. What t5 bulbs do you have? I've notice a decline in color when using old bulbs, using low color temp bulbs, if nitrate and phosphates are high, placement in the tank, not enough flow...... I think there are a lot of variables that affect color.

I'm sorry I didn't even read the post. You posted your corals and lighting. Where are the corals placed? Where is the pink birdsnest place. The pink might be in a better spot than the green.
