Why does everyone hate Zenia?

I love the stuff..
Absolutely cant get enough of it.
Pulsing Zenia that is, I could watch that stuff for hours.

Why does everyone hate it? Is there something about it that I'm just not getting or what?

I love the Pulsing as well it is cool!!!

But my wife picked up some long stem and I hate it. But now the clowns host in it. So she will not let me get rid of it and it has taken over a rock that is like 12'' x 6''.

I love xenia but dies pretty much instantly in my tank haha It seems like it either does great or melts anyone have any idea with this is?

Russell I remember being wicked irritated that a pink pom pom zenia crapped out in my tank very early into my reefing career then later being SUPER glad that it did. I think my green brittle star was eating it.

I'm a weirdo who likes Xenia too.
I think I have about 3 different kinds right now, but my favorite is my Blue Xenia.

Blue xenia is by far the best xenia. speaking of blue you have any of those blue cloves weetabix? Id love to do some trading.
