why does my blue tang have a puffy eye?

woke up this morning and one of his all puffed up and white. Any ideas? He was fine yesteday.

luckily, it looks easily treatable. Epsom salt in the display tank. It is caused by trauma. So willl see. ...hopefully that works. Will keep this thread updated.

It has been a while but when a clown of mine had a similar case, I think I remember hearing that I really had to keep the fish well fed with nutritious foods or add things like vitachem to the food. Of course these may be things you are already doing. Keep us updated on the eye.

Try Melafix - I've had good luck with it in treating injuries

so far the epsom salt is doing the trick. Eye is returning to normal. Will keep updating as fish does.
