Fish flicks or rubs against rock, sometimes it shakes heads and bodys seems it wants to get rid of something.

But it doesnt show any white spot( even after i use seachem cupramine for 2 weeks) nor the flicking symtoms diminishes after i dosed prazipro for a 5-day period.

Is there any other cause for fish to flick or shake heads? Apart from the above i couldnt tell more? Please your help on this .Really urgent case.

Your piece of advice will be my priceless treasure.

Ich can be present without the visible symptoms. Have you tried freshwater dipping to make sure flukes arent the problem? sometimes it takes 2 rounds of prazi to make sure you get any eggs that might've hatched after dosing the first

this. Also two weeks of treatment is insufficient; four weeks would be better.

Yes. Sometimes they shake just for the heck of it.

Sometimes though, it is because they are itchy or has something, but like us with a runny nose or something, it usually just go away on its own

I would agree with you if it just flick occasionally. But the fact is every time i watched them a period of time( some 5 min) they would flick a lot and shake. So i think you guys are right giving me the idea, ill try and keep dosing prazi.

One question: did you measure your copper levels regularly during the treatment? If the copper concentration is to low (and it easily is) your treatment may have not been completely successful and the infection is still present, just at a lower level wher it isn't visible.
And like Steve said, 2 weeks may not be enough.

Good point. Unless you rigorously measured the dosage, and it was at therapeutic levels (ideally for four weeks), it would not have been successful.
