why fish tanks suck

I wake up this morning, NOTHING AT ALL IS CHANGED OR DIFFERENT IN MY TANK, but the flow is COMPLETELY effed up. Coral blowing every which way. w/e

Powerheads have a concentrated jet of water for the first foot or so I think. I have a 2.5g dsb/refugium connected to my 10g nano via a vinyl hose attached to the powerhead. At first that fine sand got stirred up really easy but then I attached a hose-to-pvc adapter and 1/2" pvc elbow to the hose and the flow is much more difused now... no problems. It's a challenge to make it not ugly but if you diffuse the flow from coming out of a 1/8" hole to out of a 1/2" flow I bet you won't have things getting blown over.

Shouldn't your thread read:

"lol why fish tanks suck"

Just make sure your powerheads are not pointed in the direction of your corals and you have your corals mounted as well as you can. Thats pretty much all you can do. If your corals are falling over then I'd say you don't have them mounted well?
