Why i Buy Near Death Corals From LFS's

Not too sure on the ID but Jason thought it might be Acropora papillare. It's a light tan color now with great PE and is coloring from the base up with a fluoro green pigment finally.
 
Looks like Jason is right! It does look like A. papillare from images.

My coral ID skills continue to be rubbish, waiting for updates on the piece :)
 
Thought i'd finish off this thread with an updated pic of the pap colony which is looking much better than when i first purchased it. :)

The pink stylo looked nothing like it did 8 days before when purchased - some things are slow and some are fast to color back up.......

In short i'd urge everyone to try grabbing a browned out SPS occasionally as they're usually cheap and will always reward you for giving them a chance. :thumbsup:

For me its opposite:) they brown after i bring them home.they do cole back in time and its fun seeing what I really have they
Come back .... I forget sometimes :)
