Dosing 2 part daily. About 1dkh worth at once by hand.

Have had this for about 2 months. My green planet is doing great as well as my other sps. Unsure of whats happening. I notice weird little black dots on the bleached/dead sections where the polyps would be?

Yeah, I feel like that is a lot for a 60g, but its about a 50/50 sps/lps tank with some softies mixed in and a 2.5" maxima.

I do dose manually. The tank has been running for about a year now.

There is not. Just some monti caps nearby. Favia about 6 inches below it and that's it.

I just watched two blue dots move about 1cm across the acro. I've never heard of blue acro pests before? In the center near the recession line.

It may be red bugs or something similar or could just be pods. If possible, you could try dipping the coral in bayer and see what comes off. It further stress the coral, but if it is a pest, it might be better in the long run. Also, I would just try keeping your alk steady. If you're swinging it 1 dKH, that seem like a lot to me. Maybe some more seasoned experts can weigh in though.

Well, all the "blue dots" fell off with a dip. Seemed to have "worm-like" tendencies, like being on strings attached to the coral during the dip. Somebody please tell me what the hell blue bugs are because I can only find black and red worms.

Also...
