Why is the SEASL board lighter use?

I'm not too familiar with the difference between SLASH and SEASL, but I see the SLASH forum always having 50ish persons in it and the SEASL not many. Am I crossing a picket line or is it just two different groups? Not sure what the differentiation is. Anyone know?

Two different clubs. There was some bad blood between them in the past, but I think now the groups just ignore each other's existence most of the time lol. The SLASH group is a more informal social club, while SEASL tends to focus mostly on monthly educational meets. Thats my take on it anyway. And that's why there's not alot of chatter. SEASL just hasn't been big on chat outside the meets for whatever reason.

Both have meetings on both sides of the river. Seasl usually in Mo. , second Sat. of the month in the morning. Slash has get togethers at LFS in the evenings and go some where to eat and have fish talk there.
