I am new to this hobby just thought I would say hey. I have a 110 gallon with sump. Just a few fish yellow tang, blue damsel, coral beauty and 2 percula clowns. I have some green star polyps, superman mushrooms and xenia. I have had the tank up and running for about 5 1/2 months. I am looking at adding some flow now. Might try some harder to keep corals. I am debating between the ecotech vortec's or a tunze ts24 system. I like the small size of the vortec's. I am also looking at two tunze 6055's with a 7095 controller. I like the smaller size of the 6055's but have been told two 6101's is a better way to go. Anyways just thought I would say hello and glad to see we have a place to go for advise.

I am located in the Knolls of Boone. It is right by timber point golf course. I can see holes 4 and 11 from my porch. Like I said, I have only had the tank up and running for about 6 months. Just trying to add things slowly. I would be put out in the cold if I had 5 tanks.

I got home yesturday to find my emeral green crab on his back.
Not sure what happened. The water conditions are good. Could he have just starved? I try to feed enough so that at aleast some hits the bottom for him. Any ideas??????

My Emrald commited suicide, (he crawled up into a Maxi-Jet).But if you found him on his back ,then that probably didnt happen to yours. Sorry for your loss.
