why move or delete pictures ?

i have been trying to figure out how ti post pictures on RC and many times they come up" this pic have been moved or deleted " am i doing something wrong practicing ? i am just trying to learn how to post pictures from photobucket and some sre coming out some are not . is it something that i am doing ?

If you put an image in a folder, and them move the image to another file, the link still pulls from the origional location.

So if you want to organize your photos and you make a folder that goes reef_fish_wrasse, all of the files moved to the new folder have to be re-posted.

would this also happen if i have them in photobucket ? or is photobucket just alink back to my computer ? if so how does it keep the images when my computer is off ? i don,t doubt you in any way just trying to learn what the heck i am doing ! thanks alot too.

No, Photobucket is not linking back to your computer. When you upload a picture through their website, a copy is generated and stored on one of Photobucket's servers.

Once you've posted a picture in a thread, you can't move them to different folders within Photobucket. The picture will no longer show up in the thread.

oh ok i did move some of them last night to arrange them and that messes with the image codes or something ?
