Why Mushroom melting?

Anyone can please point me why the mushroom coral melting?
What is a cause of this heppening?

I'm going to collect thoes corals that's why I'd like to know them to avoid thoes effect.

I've heard that they don't need a strong light, do they?

they do not need strong light. mushrooms are almost indesctructable , what are the params of your tank? pics?

Only thing that ever killed my mushrooms was a chocolate chip starfish. My unscientific guess would be you have them under to much light, try and find a shadier spot.

I've got two of yuma mushroom since last saturday a few days later they looked fine but now they seem to be melt with no reasons. i put them at the bottom of the tank (not too much light). My tank is 72*30*30 inches using 400w*2.
Anyone can solve this problem please?

i got mine yesterday and the same thing has happend to me idk whats the problem my ric skirt fell off but it still bright neon green so idk what it is doing ???

I know my alk was out of wack and it killed some of my shrooms. What's your water param?
