Why my emperor won't croak

Hi guys, I bought a 5inch emperor angel two days ago, the owner of the LFS told me that emperors will "croak" but it remained silent even when chasing other fish. Is that normal?

All fish are individuals. But in general I have only seen larger male emperor angels grunt.

Its only been 2 days, let it settle in and I hopeyou have the emperor in a 200g+ tank. :fish1:

For the two above me, reading carefully tells a different story. The fish chased other fish. He didn't chase it.

I have had one for about 2 years now and never heard it grunt. In fact ive never even heard of them doing this. lol Kinda funny though. Great lybia joke by the way. lol
