Why schedule90?

I see schedule90 being used; it seems like a waste of area to me especially for drains.

I realized while I was out and about today its 80 not 90 :hmm4:

no reason except they are grey in color rather than white IMO . you will never exceed the capabilities of schedule 40 so i am just guessing on its purely aesthetics .

Besides the look the only other reason I could think to use it is the fact that normal pvc sch 40 isnt uv rated. I wonder if it may be more prone to failure if used under some aquarium lighting. When I was in irrigation we saw tons of pvc break just from sitting in the sun.

the uv would be an issue if it gets near the correct lights or outside ,good point for sure .
