Apologies to the mods for having to deal with that, but a bad experience is a bad experience and needs to be shared for the good of the hobby.

i doubt that that's true. and if it is, then it's a shame that people don't realize that something like that wouldn't even make it into a court.

Yep it is pretty standard for the owners of local stores to browse RC and look for people talking about them. Invariably the talk is negative, and the store owners contact RC to complain. RC then takes the thread down and the cycle continues. Local stores are a joke. Only the uninformed shop at them.

It's a rare occasion that something like this actually happens. When it does, not only do we end up having to lock such threads, we have to ban any discussion, good, bad, or indifferent, about the entity making such threats. So sadly, I must close this and ask if you all would so kindly help us out by refraining from mentioning anything, good, bad or indifferent about said store.
