why would a crocea detatch?

Ive had this clam for abotu 2 years, it has always been fine. Its been on the same rock for months now. Last week it decided to detactch from the rock. It fell a couple times onto the sand mantle side in the sand so it kinda scared me that it would die. It seems to not be attaching, i can feel the squishy semi tansparrent flesh on the bottom side, but i dont see any bissal threads. I cant figure out whats bothering it. The only new thing i have been doing it chaged my calcium additives to the bionic 2 part calcuim and alkalinity. any thoguhts?

exactly how do you add the 2 part, where do you add it and how were you maintaining Ca and Alk before?

i add the additives to the sump, away from the main display, and dripped it slowly. I used to just add purple up

if its still opening normally and looks fine i would just find a new place for it and place it so that it cant fall, but dont wedge it into the rocks

Yea thats the thing, when its not falling flat on it "face" in the sand, the mantle and the colors seems to be doing fine. It just has never done this in the 2 years i have had it.
