Why ?

Can someone tell my why you have to buy a whole Impeller assembly , if all you need is a new shaft . When the shaft gets pitted you have to buy an entire Impeller assembly . 99% of the time the only thing that needs to be replaced is the shaft .

Depending on the pump model, if it is one with a replaceable shaft, the shafts are now available separately. Part 6065.709.
