Why has no one made an acrylic hood?
i just read a thread about someone who has an open tank for aesthetic reasons yet they want a wrasse (jumpers)
an acrylic hood would be pleasing to the eye (constructed correctly of course) and would stop the jumpers.
you could go very modern by making an acrylic hood and the reflectors for the light could be sleek metal. this would create a very pleasing look and allow all fish to be kept.
the question i want to know is, is this possible?
