First, Please dont start with any patent crap....that is off topic, and I dont want to get into that 
My question is, is there a way to run two of these in alternating modes? I would like to set them to run exactly opposite of each other. IE, both in Gyre mode, and one running forward, while the other runs backwards, and then flip them. I suppose it may be possible to do this if you time the start of one exactly when one flips to reverse, but that would be a PITA to maintain, every time they get stopped.
Also would love to hear more information on the wifi controller. It says the controller can control up to 3 pumps. But I have read all sorts of conflicting information on what that controller can/cant do. Ive even heard you need multiple of the wireless controllers (which sounds rather pointless?)
Finally, I have an apex controller now. Is there a way to run these off the Apex instead of using these controllers???
