It's definitely Japan, but this time it's Okinawa.
Hello.
The other day, a friend visited "Hateruma Island" in Okinawa.
It is the southernmost island of Japan, It's very close to Taiwan.
She sent me some photos from the island.
Among them was a photo of S.gigantea in shallow water!!
so I would like to share.
She stands with her feet in the shallows, looking down into the water.
Similar to the sea cucumber photo, she photographed Gigantea from above using smartphone.
Then..she stuck her phone in the water and shot a short video. However, I cannot post videos here, I can only cut out photos from videos. Even so, can see that it is just below the water surface at low tide.
Probably just a few inches from the water!
I realized once again the strength of the light given to them!!
I would like to continue posting photos of Japanese wild anemones here from time to time.
Thanks for watching..thank you!!!
