Wild True Percula vs. Tank Raised?

Are the tank raised as colorful? I know they are suppose to ship better, but do they have the nice black/white/orange color contrast? I have only seen tank raiced ocellaris.

IME tank-raised are just as colorful as the WC. They are much healthier, and there's much less of an ethical dilemma when it comes to buying them. This is one of those fish where I feel there's no good excuse to buying wild-caught anymore.

The black coloration in wild caught perculas is variable. It really depends on its host anemone, etc.Mine doesn't have a lot of black, but it is still beautiful. And it is nearly bulletproof!

Is the tank raised unlikely to eat pods? I would like to add a Mandarin down the line. I know the demands, and I have a seperate tank for pod propigation, but I don't want a Mandarin to have alot of competition for pods. I'm not sure if clowns in general feed on pods.

Clowns will feed on pods, and I've not heard or or seen any difference between WC and TR in this regard.
