Wild zoa id

So these zoas were with me for awhile and had been spreading and growing happily

Can anyone ID this? It is collected in our local shores.

It could be pink and golds. i realized wild zoas are hard to ID at all lol. It looks very brown and fugly at first but it slowly turned purple with nice golden splotches. Thanks for the help though

Any name, other than "zoanthid sp" is made up solely for the purpose of marketing - to raise the price.

No offense, but why does it matter if he wants a name for it or not? Why does it seem that half the zoa threads about names has to have someone commenting like that? I get it, people think it is used solely to increase the price, but clearly some people enjoy having names for them and knowing said name, and some people do not.

Edit because I can see the image on tapatalk, looks somewhat similar to a Planet Zoa Fairy dust, but the skirt seems to be a different color. Pink and golds seem to be pretty close too. Very nice colony you have there.

Why does it need a name? If I could name it, I will name it Aiptasia Zoas cause from the pic it kinda looks like aiptasia

Why do cars have different names? They're cars.

These names help distinguish one polyp from the other. If you want to try and describe the massive amount of zoanthids on the market by color patterns alone will be here all day. When I say something like Eagle Eyes, I'm pretty sure a lot of you have an idea of what I'm talking about.

It drives me crazy when people post things like this. If you don't want to play ball then get off the field. Plain & simple.

Well i would like to name things because it sounds nice calling them something. The zoas I have as of now are watermelon and gorilla nipples. The names make them feel special although I disagree with the prices they put on these. Well Im just a teenager noob so yeah, I like calling things with names I even name my fishes cause it makes it feel special.

I know my phone cam is crapoy but for me this is a very very pretty zoa, thats why Im asking for its name. The gold dots in its centers are very beautiful under actinics and looks like real gold glitters lol. Aiptasias are brown, ugly and ugly even zoas that are brown can still be beautiful for me
