I definitely like the first picture and beerguy's, they both are very nice.. not that the other ones arent, but those two really stand out.

I actually took that picture over a year ago in Hawaii, one of my first flower pictures ever. I was under the impression that certain animals you dont want to focus on the eyes of but instead the more "threatening" parts, such as the stinger in a bee.

I'm kidding, I'm just glad the shot turned out decent since I was still very new to photography in general :)

I especially like the picture below because of the small bug on the left side, I didnt even see that when taking the picture.

Nice Pics Jesse.....snow's still melting here :). I'll post some wildflowers for you in about 2 months ;).

That last pic is one of my plum trees. The next breeze will take all the flowers off the trees.

I took tomorrow off to go up to Lake Erie to see if we can catch any of the migrating birds.

About the same here  (except its snowing now). I thought we were off to an early spring with all our warm weather. The only green thing yet is a few yards.

Guess I'll have to live vicariously through you guys I guess. :p

That's what I suspected, although I thought the last one was the 7D.

Here's my problem, I keep wanting to just get the 7D but to me, I can see actual image quality difference between the first two and then the last shot. The first two just look much cleaner/sharper. It's a small difference but it's huge at the same time.

I think I'm going to end up getting the 5D MKII when I go to get a new camera, to me it seems to edge out crop sensor cameras.

I notice now the first two are dated 2008 and 2009, then the last one is 2007. Is it possible the picture quality difference is just from you getting better at post processing or is all body? Or perhaps lens?

There is probably some of that at play here. I can certainly see a difference in image quality between my 5D and 7D (with the 5D being cleaner) but it's really not noticeable at these types of resolutions, or even at most print sizes.

The 7D is primarily a backup camera for me. it basically stays on my 100-400 all the time.
