Will a Chocolate Chip Starfish eat macro algae

All my wife wanted was a Chocolate Chip Star Fish. I started a 30 gallon fish only tank. I was to put other stuff in there but corals are out of the question. You can only put so many fish in a 30 gallon. Will the starfish eat macro algae. I was thinking either Cactus Caulerpa or Caulerpa Prolifera?

Do you already have the chocolate chip star or are you looking for one? I have one that you can have if you would like. But yes I believe that they will eat macro algae.
