Will a longnose hawk and a tailspot blenny get along?

I already have a longnose hawk and I added a small tailspot a week ago. I noticed scratch marks on its side and thought that he might have ich. Since then I havent seen him for a week and thought he must have died because of the scratching. I told my lfs and was about to get another but they were convinced that the longnose hawk killed it and told me not to add another.

Is it safe to add a tailspot blenny after adding a longnose hawk?

well i have never seen a Long nose Hawk Go after a fish that could not fit in its mouth... are you sure the blenny did not jump out?

How big is the hawk? I've read lots of threads from people having to remove them because of aggression. He may not have eaten your tailspot, but he could have killed it or stressed it to death.

I would replace the tailspot with a less timid fish.
