Will a rose BTA walk across sand?

I am thinking about trying my first anemone and I would like to get a rose BTA. I have a small island of rock in my tank that I would like to put the anemone on. Will it stay on the "island" or walk across the sand to find a better spot? Sorry for the ignorance but this will be my first anemone in 10+ years in the hobby.

I am wondering also, I grabbed my first Green Bubble tip yesterday and he is under the rock I put him on, I am thinking he is looking for a different rock but was wondering if he will walk across the substrate.

He will move across the whole system until it finds a spot to settle in and once he does that try not to switch up the flow in the system bc he will be on the move again.. IMO

Hmmmm my LFS said he won't walk on the substrate he will stay on rock. I will just have to wait and see what he does. He's just not happy right now but it's only been 24 hours since I placed him in my tank.

They don't walk on it but they will float around sometimes.
