Will a tube anemone cause problems with a lta?

HI everyone.

I have a new tube anemone that is in the same general area as my lta. They are not touching at all even at night when the tube anemone really extends itself. Could there be chemical issues here?
All my tests are as follows and there are no problems there.

nitrate-5(always been this or higher with no issues)

The anemone just seems smaller and less purple per say. It isn't bleached just a lighter shade of purple. The size is what is worrying me as it has always been fairly large and now it still opens and is still sticky and eats 2 times a week. But it just seems off and smaller.

Suggestions?

Oh yes and this all seemed to happen around the time i purchased the tube anemone

Heard tell that nems will produce toxins and do cheimcal warfare with each other. While that may be true, I think they, like most other things, learn to get along. Just watch them and if you need to move one, then do it then.

I have a peach tube & an RBTA in the same tank. They are a good 18" from each other. I certainly wouldn't let them touch.

Interesting... today I put in a dozen guppies for my frogfish to eat & the tube nem ate most of them. Just reached out & grabbed em up!

how often do you feed your tube anemone? my lfs has a few, and i'm reading up on them before i get one

I feed my tanks every other day, that includes the anemones.

i wouldn't recommend feeding guppies, frozen silversides are better
