My ice fire echinata stned a bit recently but seems to have stopped, I was wondering whether to cut off the dead areas or whether it would regrow over them? Some areas its just the tips but others entire branches have died. Thanks !

Echinatas are not encrusters so I would cut it. Any other coral would encrust over in a reasonable time. Same applies to birdsnests.

It will regrow over the tips again.

I have an ORA Blue Iris that two tips burned, and a little bit down from the tips. It's been two weeks, and both are almost completely regrown, even the dead spots that had algae on them. Leave them along, they will grow back over.. I even have a large enchinata that probably 80% died during an alk spike, it's regrowing over everything now again.
