Will anemones travel across sand beds?

If I create a seperate rock bommie surrounded by a sand bed, will rock dwelling anemones such as BTA's & LTA's restrict themseves to this rockpile?

LTA's ( Macrodactyla Doreensis ), prefer the sand and actually require one. BTA's prefer to have their foot attached to something and will most likely remain on the rockwork unless its unhappy and detaches, then it may travel across the sand in the current.
