Will Brooklynosis burn it self out , or do you have to break everything down , and sterilize the system . Will it die off if I still have fish in the tank ?

Brook will die off in 4-6 weeks without a fish host, slightly shorter than crypto.

If you still have fish, they are likely to get brook as well.

Both of the posts above are correct. I would opt for 6 weeks fallow to be on the safe side although technically 4 weeks should be sufficient. I am always a bit on the conservative side because of the life cycle distribution issue.
