will cheato keep growing?

Will itkeep growing if i dont trim it? or is there a max size that the ball will get?

its not going to grow out of the water....

i think space and available nutrients are the biggest factors.

some good trimming, i think, helps promote growth too, just like terrestrial plants and human hair... or at least i think i read that some place

if youre using it as nutrient export you should cut it back. basically whatever grows is stored nutrients.... cutting it and taking it out of the tanks is removing those nutrients.

It will grow as much as you let it/space allows. I have to halve mine every week just to keep it under control, but i do use it as a filter.

I got some from a guy on ebay and he shipped it over a holiday. When it got to me it was as cold as ice cubes. I "thawed" it and put it in my sump, and after a week it almost doubled. Don't be afraid to get rid of some when it grows.
