Will clams die if...

I have a Corcea Clam that seems to be closing any time when a fish goes by it. Will this put alot of stress on the clam? If so, what can I do about this?

as long as the fish is not picking at the mantle it should be fine, is a just a reaction that the clam will soon get used to.
