Will Clowns change Host's

Hi, I had always planned to have an Anemone and Clowns as the centerpiece of my tank. I have been waiting until I figured my tank was stable enough to keep a Bubble Tip. My tank is about 7 months old. I bought two A. Ocellaris clowns about 2 months ago, which since then have paired. My problem is that I bought a Torch coral a month ago and the clowns have taken up living in it. My question is, if I buy a Bubble Tip will the clowns move?

In my limited experience- probably not unless the torch is removed. Good luck!

I would say actually there is a pretty good chance that they will, it just may take a little time for them to discover it, maybe they will go back and forth to both for a bit.

It took my clown an hour to change hosts when she "discovered" my long tentacle anemone. She had been in the tank with it for 7 months, and had been hosted by a pair of featherdusters, then one day at feeding time she chased some food into the LTA. She spent the next hour going back and forth between the dusters and the LTA then chose the anemone. There was also a haddoni that she never looked at in the tank for 2 months before she found the LTA.
