Will clowns host in a torch coral?

I have two black ocellaris clowns and just got a nice torch coral. And the clowns seem to favor that side of the tank now, but they are keeping their space still. Will they host a torch? or is it only anemones they host?

No they wont host a torch coral. There is a possibility that they will be hosted by the coral though. You never know what clowns will accept as a host.

I had a Maroon Clown that hosted a torch coral. The clown was too big and really rough on the torch coral. The clown ended up killing several heads. For the corals sake I traded it off. If the clown would have been smaller it probably would have been ok. As soon as I put the torch in the tank the clown took right to it.

i have a pair of orange ocellaris that are hosted by my torch coral but i also had a pair of black ocellaris in that same tank before that weren't hosted by that coral. i guess it really all depends what each individual pair accepts lol

Clowns host anything!

I have a pair that hosts my flow pump! Relax man (if you want them into the torch)... in some cases, as maroon golden, if you put a GLOVE inside your tank, it will host the gloves as a anemone!

Nature is absolutely inscredible! :spin2:
