I QT everything. I also dip all corals (soft or hard) in bayer advanced insecticide. It absolutely does a great job killing red bugs and black bugs. I've dipped corals with both of these pests and it kills them. Does dipping the corals in bayer kill Ich? Does anyone know definitively?

No, no one is going to know this... However, there's no good reason to believe "ich" will be attached to corals in any way.

I disagree with both comments. I can confirm with certainty that corals can transfer ICH into a tank, most likely in cyst form.
If you are transferring corals from a tank which you know has ICH, you're risking transferring ICH into your tank.

I been fish less for 27 days now due to a bad ich outbreak. There seems to be a debate on wether or not corals May cary ich. I have yet to see any proof of this just testimony of people that say yes or no.

Just to be clear, corals don't carry ich in the same way that fish do. ICH needs fish to survive. It cannot survive on coral because it can't complete it's life cycle.
However, if a cyst happens to attach to a coral it can be introduced into a tank. I believe this is what happened in my case. Hypo and 8 weeks later, my precious tangs all made it through the experience.

I'm not really trying to debate if coral can get Ich. It can't, fish get Ich.
I'm also not trying to debate if Ich can be transferred from a coral from an Ich infected tank. It can, in cyst form just like on anything from that tank.
I don't know if the coral frags I got from a frag swap or even my LFS came from an Ich free tank, but I dip all coral in bayer and QT in a fishless QT tank, but unlike fish, which I keep in QT for 6-7 weeks, I'm not sure if this is necessary with coral. After 2-3 weeks everything looks fine and bayer eradicates all pest in my experience. Wondering if bayer would have killed any Ich cyst?
