Will Genicanthus angels battle withing their species?

Depends what size tank these are in.
Males can be quite funny with each other.

I have a trio of bellus and a pair of black spot. The male bellus occasionally tries to chase the others. Nothing violent, but I have plenty of hiding places. Should be OK.

I had a female Blackspot kill a Female watanabei in 2 days!!! So...yes they can..but...I was unlucky. You will probably ok.

+1 to Matt. The females tend to be FAR more nasty than the males.

depending on tank size and bellus size. Usually bellus are smaller , and being more sensitive I would not mix with black spot ... unless you can find smaller ones.
A friend have 2 bellus female with 1 lamarck and they are fine but all similar size in 200g tank
