ive got some gsp that are getting close to my maxima and im wondering if i need to head it off at the pass before it grows onto the shell and starts irritating the clam
I think the irritation is limited, however you should trim the colony so it's not dripping over the clam to: 1) shadow the mantle to discourage photosymthesis and 2) craw all over the clam shell and take over the clam exterior.
