Will it turn back

this SPS i have a sps that turned brown and is not the happiest of corals. It is starting to open back up and turn the color it was. Is it dead or is it on the mend? everything else in my tank is doiung good. just this one went down hill but its color is comming back and is opening up some again. i just wanted to know if anyone has gone through this. I have only been doing sps for 5 months now. NOT LONG

Need more info. Tank specs, lighting (what kind and how old are the bulbs), coral placement, flow, water params including calc, alk and mag.

All of the water is right where it should be. Bio HQI it has direct flow. There was a 5 day period that my neighbor was watching my house and did have the light on for the time I asked him to. I came home it was brown. I did a water change and checked the skimmer. placement it is on the right side of the bio with the power head right on it. it is only 3 inches off the bottom on a rock that i found to hold the plug.
