Will mushrooms attach to pvc?

I have a pvc maze for my eel and was wondering if this would work as it seems like a perfect solution to hide the pvc.

Mushrooms will attach themselves to pretty much anything they want to, and almost nothing you want them to. HTH

I used some 3" PVC fittings to provide flow behind and through my rock work, eliminate some dead spots around the base of my overflows, and tunnels for the fish to hide in. Can you simply cover it with your rocks? Here's what I did(removed rock for picture):

Anything that was exposed became covered in coraline algae in a relatively short period of time.

I have some clear pvc upfront against my front panel is why I'm trying to avoid rocks. Good to know others have a similar idea, I shoot my powerhead through once a week.

I don't mind coralline algae, was just thinking I've got this surface, why not use it and mushrooms just seem to be a perfect fit.

seems like a good idea to me. mushrooms do move on their own just very slowly...so make sure the pvc isnt touching anything else or it will leave a trail of mushrooms...in your case its great if its all over the pvc only unless you want it on your rock as well.
