Will my new Tunze be enough

My wife bought me a new 6000 with controller for Christmas. I'm just setting my 90gal. tank up again, but will the stream be enough to reach the whole length of the tank? I also will have a mag 9.5 as a return at a 5ft. head. I'm going to keep mostly SPS and Clams. My wife also bought me the Tunze Rock what part of the tank should I put it.

Bill, depends on your rockwork. It will flow all the way across a 4 ft tank (assuming your 90 is standard). the thing to keep in mind is that even with the 6000, if you've got something directly in the flow path within a foot or so, it'll strip the flesh off of it.
These are great little (well not so little) pumps though!
Chuck.

It wil strip the flesh of unacclimated specimens but certainly SPS encounter higher flow in the wild and the very heavy branched acros like gemnifera and robustus as well as the tables would appreciate this high flow, it is also not a bad idea with Birds nest where detritus settling into the branches tends to be an eventual cause of demise, corals of these types once acclimated can be placed within 6" of the pump. I think your flow will be adequate. I would place the rock somewhere the pump can easily be removed for service and as close to a side wall as possible so most of the tank is covered.

I thought two 6000's would be to much for my 90gal. And yes I understand about the way I set the rock up.

The idea behind two isn't to run them both, you will run one at a time, anytime flow is constant in one direction debris accumulates in pockets, the more randomness you provide the less chance for detritus accumulation.
