Will oscellaris pair need to be separated in a temporary aquarium?

Hi all,

I am in the process of setting up a cooler aquarium that I will run on the road to New York for 3.5 days while driving in a Penske.

I am allocating about 2/3 of the space in the cooler, the equivalent of approx 3g of water, to my oscellaris pair. I was going to epoxy my gorg to the bottom to give them a little something in with them as I dare not leave them with the clams. ..

my question is should I separate them, leaving each of them about a gallon of space, mainly vertical, or can I leave them together? I have also considered leaving them together, and checking on them, and putting a divider in if necessary.

Experiences? thoughts?

thanks,
Angela

I would keep them together, it might help to reduce a little of the stress.
I also am curious of why you are doing this. Moving?

i'd guess you'd prolly want some level of temp control, too. might be worthwhile to get a dc/ac cigarette lighter converter if ya haven't already. haven't moved a tank cross country, or anything but when i deliver clowns, i've ran 2 airpumps and 4 100w heaters off of one

Ok, so I guess I should've noted:

have inverter, will run heater & powerhead (with venturi), which will run through carbon and polyfilter on the intake. I may also run an add'l air stone.

Thanks for the tips, anything I haven't thought of? What are your thoughts on keeping the wave action down? I considered covering the top of the water with a layer of plastic with just a small vent for escaping air from the venturi. I am hoping the clowns aren't tossed around into the walls and the grating... I also considered coating the grating on their side with silicone in strips to minimize impact damage.
