will PC ballast run T5s?

im sure its been asked many times but i cant seem to find the answer.

i have a Current USA 72" 3X150 HQI, 4 X 96 PC, can i use the existing ballasts to run T5s ?

i was thinking of 2 36" 39 watters per 96 watt ballast

the t5 bulbs ends are different than regular pc bulbs

You will have to figure out the ballast model and go to the mfg website. I would bet that its not possible though

yeah i know the ends are different, just need to know if the
96watt ballast will fire a couple 39 watters or a single 54
