Will pods survive a cycle?

I am pretty sure they will, but just wanted to make sure. I am thinking of adding pods now and maybe a daily dose of phytoplankton during the cycle. What do you guys think?

You don't need to add that during the cycle. If you're using live rock then they will populate your tank from the rock and you won't need to add anything. If you're using dry rock and a shrimp, or something other than live rock to cycle the tank then the cycle will be harsher. You should wait until after the cycle to add any pods.

I am using dry rock and a shrimp. I figured it would be a little harsh on them but figured they would survive. I am thinking I will wait till I get the fuge going anyway. Thanks for the reply
