Will sand on the mantle bother the clam?

My clown fish nearby is strirring up the sand near his anemone and its dropped a bit of sand on the Clams mantle. Its a crocea and has sand around both the holes in its mantle. I am afraid the sand will slide down there and choke the poor clam. Anyone have this problem and should I be concered?

a small amount of sand wont hurt the clam but i would try to avoid getting sand on /in the clam. can you move the clam up on the rocks?

any fish that stir up the sand and you have a clam down on it it is best to move the clam up on the rocks......i did the same things cus that damned sleeper goby I had kept filling his mouth with sand and flies right over my clam sprinkling him with sand.
